In short, they're not worth your time, no matter how many YouTubers use them or how pretty they may look. Off site mods that do this typically have poor physical structures in BeamNG, and perform unrealistically compared to their real-life counterparts. It's not as easy as rip the model, add some colors to it, and plop it in game.
It takes a lot of time and effort to make a vehicle for BeamNG, hence why there are so few cars in BeamNG, including mods. However, some people release real cars under different names and badging, so do keep an eye out for that when looking for mods But trust me, people do read that thread, even as long as it is.īeamNG can't have licensed cars in the mods page due to it being officially hosted and bound to the same copyright rules that the game is. It seems like there's a lot of stuff in there, I know.
